SDKs
DB2 Software Developer's Kits are a collection of tools to develop character-based, multimedia, or object-oriented applications that access DB2 databases. SDKs can be installed on the server or on remote clients, giving you an application development environment with both local and remote databases. SDKs are available on OS/2, Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows NT, DOS, Macintosh System 7, AIX, HP-UX, SINIX, SCO OpenServer, and the Solaris Operating Environment.

DDCS
Distributed Database Connection Services gives you an easy way to connect your client applications to DB2 databases on host and mini computer systems. Applications can work with organizational data transparently, as if it were on a local database.
